Since 1973, Cafe Flore has been a Castro landmark attracting gay, straight and other "flavors" of colorful people to this unique restaurant, and cafe. The kitchen is open from 7am to 10pm everyday of the year, just go to the kitchen counter (there are no waiters), place your order and get a number, and the food will be delivered to your table.
