GGRA Members, both restaurants and vendors, can provide the early work experiences which help young people build the foundation they need for success. Mayor Edwin Lee, United Way Bay Area and AfterCollege are inviting San Francisco businesses to participate in SF Summerjobs+, a call to action for employers to create 2500 summer jobs and internships for local youth.

It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!

Step 1) Make your pledge
Decide how many job openings your company will be able to pledge this summer, and visit www.hiresfyouth.org to be connected to the SF Summer Jobs+ Career Network

Step 2) Register your company for free on the SF Summer Jobs+ Career Network
AfterCollege is allowing businesses to post their SF Summer Jobs + for free! Employers can easily establish an account by entering basic contact information, and answering a few simple questions. Go to After College to sign up for your free employer account.

Step 3) Post your company’s SF Summer Jobs + positions
Posting jobs is easy. Go to HireSFYouth.org to be connected to the SF Summer Jobs+ Career Network, then enter the job description, wage level, and other information that a young job applicant will need to know in order to make the best match for your company.

For more information, contact Donnalyn at donnalyn@ggra.org or call (415) 781-5348 ext 2. SF Summer Jobs + provides the tools that you need to ensure that your business and participating youth have a quality experience working together this summer and beyond.
