Vendor Memberships
When you join the GGRA as a Vendor you're presented with a unique opportunity to reach out to the Bay Area's Restaurant Community. We also provide opportunites for you to network with our members increasing your business and value to your membership.
Branding
Utilize the Member Offer Program by e-mail or direct mail. Vendor members can e-mail or mail a marketing piece to GGRA restaurant members. There is an administrative fee of $100 per email or $100 to forward the GGRA mailing list to a 3rd party mailing house. To e-mail a marketing piece, submit the text you'd like in the e-broadcast in a word document and the pictures as jpgs SEPARATELY from the text to our Web Developer, Heather Hudgeon at heather@ggra.org. She will then edit the e-broadcast and send you a draft for your approval. Nothing will be sent until you approve and payment is received. To mail a marketing piece to our members, submit the piece to the GGRA for approval. Once approved, provide contact information for a mailing house and our Web Developer, Heather Hudgeon will send the list to them. The GGRA does NOT release its mailing list so the mailing house must be a 3rd party. To participate in this program, please contact Heather Hudgeon at heather@ggra.org.
Cost Saving Programs
Take advantage of the cost savings programs originally developed for Restaurant Members. Do you have your own utility service? This year we are excited to announce a new partnership with PG&E on energy savings programs. For example, a simple rate review may create savings of $1,000 or more per year by moving to the best available rate. We have a cost savings program for natural gas with Commercial Energy of California. Do you accept credit cards? Our program offers net exchange rates and very low transaction fees. Click here to read more. Do you have employees? If so, our local, state and federal tax credit program will allow you to realize tax credits. Click here to read more. We offer a customizable employee manual which is free to all members and updated every January. In a difficult economy we are seeing a rising number of employee claims against their former employer. Protect yourself with a thorough and current employee manual. We partner with HR Ideas to reduce certification cost for Prevention of Workplace Harassment as required for all supervisors every 2 years.
Networking
We believe most business transactions are relationship based, especially in the restaurant industry. We create multiple networking opportunities for Associate Members:- Invitation to our Annual Member Reception.
- Opportunity to volunteer, play and/or sponsor our annual Golf Tournament.
- Opportunity to volunteer, display or sponsor SF Chefs in August on Union Square.
- Invitation to participate on a GGRA Committee like Education, Membership or Golf.
- Teaching a seminar or class on an area of interest to restaurateurs. We promote the class, find space for the class, and manage attendance.
