Bill to allow on-site rectifying passes the Senate
SB 32, introduced by Senator Mark Leno and co-sponsored by the Golden Gate Restaurant Association passed unanimously out of the Senate on June 2. The legislation would change the definition of "rectifier" under the state Alcoholic Beverage Control Act to exclude any on-sale licensee that processes distilled spirits on the licenses premises for consumption on the premises. The GGRA appreciates Senator Leno's leadership on this important issue and look forward to ensuring that the measures makes it through the Assembly and receives the Governor's support.
