We are working hard to build a strong coalition to reform San Francisco’s job killing payroll tax system to a gross receipts tax structure, similar to what every other major jurisdiction in California uses. Currently there are two proposals before the Board of Supervisors for consideration for the November election, one proposed by Mayor Lee and Board President David Chiu and one by Supervisor John Avalos.

The GGRA Board unanimously supports Mayor Lee’s efforts to move the city to a gross receipts tax structure. Please join the GGRA board in supporting this important effort.
