For over 30 years, Project Open Hand has helped sick and vulnerable Bay Area residents with nourishing, delicious meals.

In 2018, they’re nearing a new milestone:
Providing one million meals in a single year. Let’s help them get there.

This October, Yelp Nowait is partnering with local restaurants to raise awareness about Project Open Hand. Here’s how it’s going to work:

In collaboration with Project Open Hand…

Yelp Nowait is launching a campaign to make Project Open Hand top of mind for the 2.8 million people in the Bay Area who use Yelp each month.

From October 12 to October 22, Yelp Nowait will donate a meal to Project Open Hand* for every party that joins a Yelp Nowait digital waitlist and is seated at a Bay Area restaurant.

Leading up the campaign, Yelp Nowait will donate 1,000 meals for every restaurant that signs up for Yelp Nowait from now to October 1.

Here’s how you can help:

Every restaurant that participates will help Project Open Hand hit its goal.
