The GGRA Community and Support for Houston

Restaurateurs open restaurants to feed and nourish people, providing places where people celebrate and live their lives daily.  Being a vital part of San Francisco Bay Area communities, restaurants support nonprofit causes ranging from athletics and homelessness, to local schools. Each year, GGRA members donate their space, time, countless meals, and gift certificates to charitable organizations.

Right now many of you are looking at your current charitable efforts to figure out how to assist those being devastated in Houston. In the aftermath and lingering threat of Hurricane Harvey, we want to know if you and your business are doing anything or are planning to put in place any measures to support the Harvey relief efforts in Southeast Texas. We want to tap in our community’s strong network and history of giving to come together and support Houston.

Please email Chhavi Sahni at to let us know how you are giving back or if you would like to get involved. We will be amplifying our community’s involvement via our social channels and plan to send out a press release.

As Texas deals with the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, many of our members are showing their support for the victims of this historic hurricane.
