The GGRA offers a wealth of programs to provide restaurants with the critical information they need to be successful. Each contribute to the education of employees at all levels in the restaurant industry. They include:
Monthly food safety classes – offered at a discounted price to all employees of our member restaurants (classes are also available to non-members).
Regularly scheduled seminars, webinars, and other types of classes – to keep our members up to date on regulatory changes and compliance issues. We partner with local/state government agencies and utilize the knowledge of our associate members, who are all experts in their field, as issues arise throughout the year.
BRAND NEW! Chefs Professional Development Series – a course of quarterly classes that will focus on the furthering education of chefs in the Bay Area.

GGRA has an accreditation partnership with the American Culinary Federation so that attendees of our seminars and classes will receive Continuing Education Hours from ACF. Classes that qualify for CEHs will state “This class qualifies for Continuing Education Hours from American Culinary Federation (ACF)”, and they will include the ACF logo.
Our Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships to students in the hospitality sector to support the future of the industry.
